The jury, headed by former Cannes Festival president Pierre Lescure<\/strong>, includes a number of leading figures from the world of cinema: actress Camille Cottin<\/strong>, who was on our cover just a few months ago, will soon be starring in Pierre Schoeller<\/strong>\u2019s Rembrandt<\/em>; Alice Winocour<\/strong>, whose film Couture<\/em>, starring Angelina Jolie<\/strong>, is eagerly awaited (spoiler: we\u2019ve seen it, and it\u2019s a great film); successful screenwriter No\u00e9 Debr\u00e9<\/strong>, who is also the director of A Good Jewish Boy;<\/em> Thibault Gast<\/strong>, producer of, among others, Fresh Water for Flowers<\/em>, the forthcoming adaptation of Val\u00e9rie Perrin<\/strong>\u2019s bestseller; and Sayyid El Alami<\/strong>, a young actor introduced in Oussekine<\/em>, and soon to headline Fief<\/em>, the adaptation of David Lopez<\/strong>\u2019s novel. Two authors will be representing the literary world: Anne Berest<\/strong>, the novelist who just released Finist\u00e8re<\/em> and wrote the script for Rebecca Zlotowski<\/strong>\u2019s next film, A Private Life; a<\/em>nd Karine Tuil<\/strong>, whose Les Choses Humaines<\/em> was brought to the screen by Yvan Attal<\/strong> in The Accusation<\/em>. Literary podcast producer L\u00e9a Marchetti<\/strong>, VF<\/em> France\u2019s literary page contributor, will complete this prestigious jury. The three winners will be announced on October 16 at an awards ceremony to be held in the salons of the Paris\u2019s glamorous Le Meurice Hotel.<\/p>\n The launch of this award is also an opportunity to introduce a new feature on our pages. Each month, a director will explain the adaptation of his or her dreams.
