The rapper, 50, has unveiled a collaboration with Bubly sparkling water to mark the return of the company\u2019s crisp apple flavour, after a revival of his denim line in 2023 after a decade-long hiatus.<\/p>\n

He has now paired Apple Bottoms with Bubly for a limited campaign in a partnership that includes the launch of Apple Bubly Jeans, embroidered with \u201cApple Bubly\u201d in green stitching on the label\u2019s trademark apple-shaped pockets. <\/p>\n

The jeans are available through the Apple Bottoms website alongside a bundle featuring sparkling water, a tank top, keychain, mini denim clutch and iron-on patch.<\/p>\n

Nelly<\/a> told People about the launch: \u201cYou want to be able to pair up and double brand with companies that have similar structure in what it is that you\u2019re doing, meaning they\u2019ve been able to have unbelievable success in an area where I would have never thought people would be making money. Sparkling water, who knew?\u201d<\/p>\n

\nThe campaign features a commercial set to a remix of Flo Rida and T-Pain\u2019s 2007 hit Low, which famously referenced Apple Bottoms in its chorus. <\/p>\n

\nIn the updated version, the line has been reworked to promote the new Apple Bubly jeans.<\/p>\n

\nNelly said the brand\u2019s revival has felt like a reunion with fans. <\/p>\n

\nHe added: \u201cIt\u2019s like reuniting with a long-lost relative, so to speak. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cMy fan base that had been showing me unbelievable support all throughout my career, they stood up for Apple Bottoms at that time where I think just all of the urban fashion was really the fashion at the time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\nApple Bottoms, first launched in 2003, became a defining name in women\u2019s urban fashion. <\/p>\n

\nIts rise followed Nelly\u2019s earlier foray into menswear with Vokal, though he admitted he never expected a women\u2019s line to succeed in the same way. <\/p>\n

\nHe said: \u201cI\u2019m a country boy, man. We like curves. My mama\u2019s got curves, my auntie\u2019s got curves. We love the way you are. We love the way you look. <\/p>\n

\n\u201cMatter of fact, those jeans don\u2019t fit because maybe the designer is not from where you\u2019re from or don\u2019t get why you dress like that or why you\u2019re curved like that, but we understand it, and we were able to get the support.\u201d<\/p>\n
