Jesse Williams<\/strong> asked why no one fixed his collar while attending the Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 14.<\/p>\n William, 44, took to Instagram<\/a> on Tuesday, September 16, to share several photos of him at the awards show. While a photo of him presenting onstage showed that his collar was fixed, other snapshots and videos taken before he presented showed that his collar was tucked into his jacket.<\/p>\n \u201cWalked the whole carpet, photos, mad interviews and no one said a word,\u201d he captioned the slideshow alongside the crying-laughing emoji. \u201cCaught it before showtime.\u201d<\/p>\n In addition to the photos and videos from the night, Williams shared a text exchange with his stylist, Law Roach<\/strong>. \u201cHad no idea my collar was jacked the whole time,\u201d Williams wrote before Roach, 47, responded with a photo of the Grey\u2019s Anatomy alum on the red carpet. Roach added, \u201cSo mad \u2026 and just one.\u201d<\/p>\n Williams jokingly responded that people thought he was \u201cdoin somethin\u201d with the look.<\/p>\n At the awards show, Williams looked handsome in a Blancpain black jacket and pants. Trust me,\u201d actress Nia Long<\/strong> wrote alongside cry-laughing emojis, while author Fatin Badran<\/strong> added, \u201cWho\u2019s looking at your collar??? All I ever see are those eyes.\u201d<\/p>\n Williams presented the Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series award at the Emmys alone, though he was originally scheduled to present with former Grey\u2019s Anatomy <\/em>costar Eric Dane to celebrate the show\u2019s 20th anniversary. However, Dane, 52, wasn\u2019t able to make it and Williams opted to not mention the ABC medical drama when he presented the category.<\/p>\n The Emmys were held just five months after Dane publicly revealed he was diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). \u201cI have been diagnosed with ALS,\u201d he told People<\/a><\/em> in April. \u201cI am grateful to have my loving family by my side as we navigate this next chapter.\u201d<\/p>\n The Summer I Turned Pretty Journey Continues: Prime Video Announces Feature Film<\/a><\/p>\n \u201cI feel fortunate that I am able to continue working and am looking forward to returning to set of Euphoria<\/em> next week,\u201d he continued, referencing the HBO show that was about to start production at the time. \u201cI kindly ask that you give my family and I privacy during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n Despite not getting to present with Dane, Williams made it clear how much he likes his former costar during his red carpet interviews. While speaking to Entertainment Tonight<\/a><\/em>, Williams said that he and Dane had a \u201creally wonderful\u201d time working together.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s solid, the man\u2019s just solid,\u201d Williams added about Dane. \u201cWe have to be careful as men to still take care of ourselves, and he\u2019s got a perfect balance going.
