I know nothing about it. Nothing, other than I don&#8217;t think I&#8217;m in it. I don&#8217;t know.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I think Nancy wrote to me and said, &#8216;Have you heard about this?&#8217; Literally.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Law has no idea if his character will appear in the series.<\/p>\n<p>\nQuizzed on whether he&#8217;d reprise the role, he insisted: &#8220;Nancy Meyers would have to be involved. She was the magic that brought all that together.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nThe new series will be written and executive produced by Krissie Ducker with help from Rob Delaney.<\/p>\n<p>\nNo cast details are known at this time.<\/p>\n<p>\nMeyers claimed she was not made aware of the series, reacting on her Instagram Stories: &#8220;News to me.<\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;Imagine my surprise when I opened Instagram and this was the first post I saw.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\nThe beloved movie sees two heartbroken women, Amanda [Cameron Diaz] and Iris [ Kate Winslet] swap homes and lives before falling in love with Graham and Miles [Jack Black], respectively. <\/p>\n<p>\nMeyers has previously denied rumours of a sequel and recently admitted she never expected the flick to become a timeless Christmas classic.<\/p>\n<p>\nThe filmmaker told the Hollywood Gold podcast: &#8220;I never thought it would be, you know, a movie that you watched during the holidays&#8230;. Didn&#8217;t think of it that way. <\/p>\n<p>\n&#8220;I just really wanted to tell the story about these people. I set it at Christmas because that can be lonely.
