Ashlee Simpson<\/b> recently gave fans a rare update on her daughter, Jagger, whom she shares with husband <\/span>Evan Ross<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cMy daughter does not let me dress her anymore,\u201d Simpson, 40, told <\/a><\/span>E! News<\/span><\/i><\/a> at the alice + olivia by Stacey Bendet<\/strong> Spring 2026 Presentation in New York City earlier this week.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI can go get the things or whatever. She is definitely going to be a style icon. She picks out her clothes, her looks.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n But when it comes to her own wardrobe, <\/span>Simpson<\/span><\/a> admitted things have changed since becoming a mother.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve definitely worn some wild outfits in my life,\u201d she reflected. \u201cBut being a mom, I think in my day-to-day life, it\u2019s always about ballet flats and my mom looks.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Still, with her return to the stage, the star has found a space to show another side of herself. \u201cThe stage looks are obviously different and going out, that\u2019s been fun,\u201d the 40-year-old said.<\/span><\/p>\n The \u201cPieces of Me\u201d singer shares Jagger, 10, and <\/span>Ziggy Blu Ross<\/b>, 4, with husband Evan, as well as <\/span>Bronx Mowgli Wentz<\/b>, 16, with ex-husband <\/span>Pete Wentz<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n For Simpson, fashion is just a tiny part of her latest chapter. She\u2019s also in the middle of a seven-day residency in <\/span>Las Vegas<\/span><\/a> at the Venetian Resort\u2019s Voltaire nightclub, running until Sept. 27. When talking about what it\u2019s like to be performing again, she said it has been a joy\u2014not just for her, but for her fans and family, too.<\/span><\/p>\n The singer also told <\/span>E!<\/span><\/i> at the <\/span>2025 MTV VMAs<\/span><\/a> how the tour has been going so far. \u201cIt\u2019s been a blast, honestly, just for me to get up there and perform these songs that I haven\u2019t played in so long. Then to understand, for me, what it feels like to play them again feels the same for my fans has been just incredible.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
