Forming a truce. Carl Radke<\/strong><\/a> revealed that he\u2019s made amends with Danielle Olivera<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s ex Robert Sieber<\/strong> <\/a>following their rift on season 7 of Summer House<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cWe have chatted. I don\u2019t know the full details of Danielle\u2019s and Robert\u2019s breakup. I was sad to hear that [they split], but I did chat with him a little bit and we kind of cleared the air,\u201d the Bravo star 38, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Monday, May 22, while promoting his partnership with Talkspace<\/a> for its \u201cCelebrate Every Step\u201d campaign in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month. \u201cI have always really liked Robert and I can\u2019t really say anything bad about him.\u201d<\/p>\n Carl and Robert\u2019s conflict stemmed from the tension<\/a> between Danielle, 34, and Carl\u2019s fianc\u00e9e, Lindsay Hubbard<\/strong><\/a>, after Danielle wasn\u2019t involved in Carl\u2019s proposal plans. The app developer also voiced her concerns about how fast the pair were moving in their relationship, which led to the two women having a falling out<\/a>.<\/p>\n Robert, for his part, slammed Carl for excluding his then-girlfriend<\/a>. (In February, Danielle confirmed that she and Robert had called it quits<\/a> in November 2022 after two years of dating.)<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m extremely happy for you guys, but obviously a lot has happened this summer,\u201d the chef, 33, said during the May 15 episode \u201cThe biggest thing for me is why you didn\u2019t come to her and tell her anything. For her to be one of the last ones to know, it\u2019s almost kind of embarrassing for her.\u201d<\/p>\n As this season of Summer House<\/em> winds down \u2014 the reunion kicks off<\/a> on May 29 \u2014 Carl, for his part, has been candid about his mental health struggles<\/a> throughout his time on the reality series, which he has been part of season 1.<\/p>\n \u201cEvery season of the show\u2019s been hard at times,\u201d Carl recalls. \u201cIf you go all the way back to seasons 1 through 5, I had a lot of things that were difficult, and I probably dealt with it way differently in those early seasons, whether it was drinking or partying.\u201d<\/p>\n In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, Carl teamed up with Talkspace<\/a> to raise awareness for the positive outcomes of therapy for its \u201cCelebrate Every Step\u201d campaign.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve been on a mental health journey for many years. It\u2019s something I\u2019m really passionate about,\u201d he tells Us<\/em>. \u201cI did family therapy in my youth and always was very quiet about it. I didn\u2019t really share because you\u2019re screwed up or you\u2019ve got a lot of problems. It\u2019s kind of embarrassing. There\u2019s a lot of shame. So it\u2019s something I experienced on the other side of it. \u201d<\/p>\n He continued: \u201cI had a stigma against it and, maybe, judged people for it because it just seemed like I just didn\u2019t understand it. As I\u2019ve gotten older, [I\u2019ve] understood that I\u2019ve had tons of things that I needed to address, you know, it could be childhood traumas, it could be relationships, it could be conflict [and] all sorts of things.\u201d<\/p>\n
