\t\t<\/p>\n Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> reportedly skipped a vigil for Charlie Kirk<\/strong><\/a> because he had plans to play golf.<\/p>\n The President of the United States was noticeably absent from a vigil held at the Kennedy Center on Sunday night (September 14) in Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n Trump<\/strong> decided to insert himself into the arts community earlier this year when he was elected as Board Chair of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, one of the most important arts institutions in the country. Yet, he snubbed the center\u2019s vigil for his own friend.<\/p>\n So, where was he?<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n TMZ<\/a> reports he chose \u201cinstead to enjoy a weekend away at his golf club in New Jersey.\u201d He spent the weekend at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, N.J. and returned to his residence at the White House at 6:30pm on Sunday night. <\/p>\n The vigil started at 6pm, just a mile and a half away from the White House.<\/p>\n Attendees at the vigil included House Speaker Mike Johnson<\/strong>, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.<\/strong><\/a>, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt<\/strong><\/a>, and about 85 members of Congress. <\/p>\n Trump<\/strong> will reportedly plan Kirk<\/strong>\u2018s memorial in Arizona on September 21. <\/p>\n
