Apparently, he\u2019s one of those directors who likes to keep his actors separated until the cameras roll. Think of it as method directing, if you will. \u201cI tried to keep my actors apart because I wanted them to be surprised,\u201d he explained. \u201cSo, Channing and Peter Dinklage never saw each other. The scene in question shows Tatum\u2019s character, fugitive Jeffrey Manchester, getting caught mid-shower by Dinklage\u2019s store manager character, Mitch. Honestly, you can\u2019t make this stuff up.<\/p>\nTatum himself seemed to take the whole situation in stride, though he admitted it was pretty mortifying. \u201cThat was just a messy scene,\u201d he said. \u201cLiterally, everything\u2019s out there for the world. I mean, poor Peter Dinklage, he got the whole view. There\u2019s no graceful way to jump up onto a bike rack when you know the camera is dead behind you.\u201d<\/p>\n

The film, which had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, hits theaters on October 10. Based on the buzz it\u2019s generating, audiences might be in for quite the wild ride. Just don\u2019t expect your typical meet-cute between co-stars.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
