The 2025 Emmy Awards<\/a> crowned a new Outstanding Drama Series winner.<\/p>\n

The Pitt<\/em> took home the award during the Sunday, September 14, ceremony at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is insane thank you so much to the Academy. I want to thank everyone at Warner Bros. Channing, for believing in the show from the get-go. Sara, Casey and Joey at HBO Max for nurturing and supporting out show,\u201d creator R. Scott Gemmill<\/strong> said in his acceptance speech. \u201cTo our amazing cast and crew and writers and directors we wouldn\u2019t be here without you guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gemmill also dedicated award to the all the healthcare workers and first responders.<\/p>\n

This year, the awards are being held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 14. Stars including Uzo Aduba, Kristen Bell, Quinta Brunson, Ayo Ederibi and Jean Smart all looked flawless as they hit [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Eight nominees competed<\/a> for Outstanding Drama Series: Andor<\/em>, The Diplomat<\/em>, The Last of Us<\/em>, Paradise<\/em>, The Pitt<\/em>, Severance<\/em>, Slow Horses<\/em> and The White Lotus<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Of the Outstanding Drama Series contenders, Severance<\/em> landed the most overall nominations with 27. Prior to Sunday\u2019s awards show, the Apple TV+ series won Outstanding Title Design, Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program (One Hour or More), Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score), Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour), Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (One Hour) and Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series for Merritt Wever<\/strong> at the 2025 Creative Arts Emmy Awards.<\/p>\n

The White Lotus<\/em> followed closely behind Severance<\/em> with 23 nods, securing a trophy for Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music ahead of the ceremony on Sunday.<\/p>\n

The Last of Us<\/em> received 16 total nominations, with an early win for Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (One Hour).<\/p>\n

The Pitt<\/em>, meanwhile, earned 13 nominations and early wins for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Drama Series for Shawn Hatosy<\/strong> and Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series.<\/p>\n
