The White Lotus<\/em><\/a> received a lot of nominations at the 2025 Emmy Awards<\/a>, but\u00a0ultimately went home with nothing.<\/p>\n

Mike White<\/strong>\u2019s hit anthology series received a total of 23 nominations<\/a> at the 77th annual ceremony, including Outstanding Drama Series, which was awarded to<\/a> The Pitt.<\/em><\/p>\n

Carrie Coon<\/strong><\/a>, Parker Posey<\/strong><\/a>, Natasha Rothwell<\/strong> and Aimee Lou Wood<\/strong> all earned nods for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. However, Jean Smart<\/strong> took home the trophy for the second year in a row for her role in Hacks<\/em>.<\/p>\n

For Outstanding Supporting Actor, Walton Goggins<\/strong><\/a>, Jason Isaacs<\/strong> and Sam Rockwell<\/strong> <\/a>were nominated. They lost to Tramell Tillman<\/strong> for Severance<\/em>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tLights, camera, fashion! The 2025 Emmys have commenced, meaning stars have brought their A-game to the red carpet. This year, the awards are being held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, September 14. Stars including Uzo Aduba, Kristen Bell, Quinta Brunson, Ayo Ederibi and Jean Smart all looked flawless as they hit [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

White also received consideration for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series. Outstanding Directing went to Adam Randall<\/strong> for Slow Horses<\/em> while Outstanding Writing was awarded to Dan Gilroy<\/strong> for Andor<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Scott Glenn<\/strong> got a nomination for Outstanding Drama Guest Actor, but the award ultimately went to Shawn Hatosy<\/strong> for The Pitt<\/em> during the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, which were held on September 6 and 7.<\/p>\n

The White Lotus<\/em> also lost Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series, Outstanding Contemporary Costumes for a Series, Outstanding Cinematography for a Series (One Hour), Outstanding Contemporary Hairstyling, Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic), Outstanding Music Composition for a Series, Outstanding Music Supervision, Outstanding Picture Editing for a Drama Series, Outstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program (One Hour or More), Outstanding Sound Mixing for a Comedy or Drama Series and Outstanding Title Design.<\/p>\n

The series did earn one award at the Creative Arts ceremony. Composer Cristobal Tapia de Veer<\/strong> won Outstanding Original Main Title Theme Music. Tapia de Veer has composed the score for The White Lotus<\/em> since its inaugural season and previously took home Outstanding Music Composition For A Series in 2022 and 2023.<\/p>\n

Tapia de Veer\u2019s most recent win comes five months after he exited the series amid an alleged feud with White<\/a>. The pair were reportedly at odds over the third season\u2019s theme song. (Fans were disappointed when the show\u2019s iconic \u201cooh-loo-loo-loos\u201d were not featured in the intro.)<\/p>\n
