Savannah Chrisley<\/strong><\/a> is mourning the sudden death of her friend Charlie Kirk<\/strong><\/a>, revealing that she had been set to join him on his upcoming college campus speaking tour before his passing.<\/p>\n Kirk \u2014 the founder of Turning Point USA \u2014 was fatally shot on Wednesday, September 10, during the first stop of his American Comeback Tour at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. He was 31. The tour had been scheduled to visit campuses across the U.S. through September and October.<\/p>\n In an emotional TikTok<\/a> video shared late Wednesday night, Savannah, 28, reflected on the impact Kirk had on her life and how he supported her as she fought to free her parents, Todd Chrisley<\/strong> and Julie Chrisley<\/strong>, from prison over the last two and a half years. (The couple, who were convicted of tax evasion and bank and wire fraud in 2022, were pardoned by President Donald Trump<\/strong> in May.)<\/p>\n \u201cToday\u2019s been a tough day,\u201d the Chrisley Knows Best<\/em> alum said. \u201cThe past two and a half years of my life have been some of the hardest years I\u2019ve ever had to endure, but in those two and a half years, I\u2019ve met so many great people and lifelong friends, and one of those people that brought me into their world was Charlie Kirk.\u201d<\/p>\n I am numb. I can\u2019t believe I\u2019m even writing these words. Charlie Kirk changed my life\u2026he brought me into the Turning Point family this past year, and I was supposed to be standing next to him at every college this October. Instead, I sit here with a broken heart, devastated beyond words. Charlie wasn\u2019t just a leader or a voice for the youth\u2026he was a believer in Christ. His faith anchored everything he did. And I know with certainty that while we\u2019ve lost him here, he is now fighting for us all in heaven, standing boldly before the Lord, just as he did here on earth.
