New York Yankees star Aaron Judge<\/strong><\/a> gushed about making some franchise history in front of President Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWe put on a show,\u201d Judge, 33, told reporters after the team\u2019s 9-3 victory over the Detroit Tigers on Thursday, September 11.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Judge hit two home runs in the game, tying Joe DiMaggio<\/strong> for fourth-most in Yankees history.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Before the game, Trump, 79, paid a visit to the Yankees\u2019 clubhouse, which Judge called \u201ca surreal moment.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The New York Yankees outfielder and Bracksieck began their romance as high school sweethearts, dating on and off as teenagers before drifting apart. They reportedly rekindled their flame in 2019 and have been going strong [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe came in here and he told us we were going to win, so I think that gave everybody the confidence in this room to go out there and do it,\u201d Judge said. \u201cI guess we\u2019ve got to have him around more often.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

During his message to the Yankees in the clubhouse, Trump said the team used to win \u201cevery time I came\u201d with his late friend and longtime Yankees owner George Steinbrenner<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou think that was easy, sitting with him for a game?\u201d Trump said of Steinbrenner, who died in 2010. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t. It was brutal. You were exhausted at the end.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Trump expressed confidence that the Yankees \u201cwould go all the way,\u201d picking the team to win their first World Series since 2009.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The president sat behind security glass on the upper level box suite level during the game. He was shown multiple times on the screens inside Yankee Stadium during the game and received mixed reactions.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

During the second inning, Trump was shown on the jumbotron while \u201cHail to the Chief\u201d played.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Later in the game, Trump was shown on the screen while the Village People<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cYMCA\u201d played. He participated in spelling out the letters with his arms, but did not stand up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

According to the Associated Press<\/a>, Trump left the game during the seventh inning.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The couple made a rare appearance together on Tuesday, July 15, before the 2025 edition of the [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Trump attended the game to commemorate the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Judge called it \u201ca tough day for everyone.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
