Teen Mom 2\u2019s<\/em> Kailyn Lowry<\/strong><\/a> candidly opened up about grappling with heavy period woes, a neck lift recovery and parenting seven children at the same time.<\/p>\n Speaking on the Thursday, September 11 episode of podcast \u201cCoffee Convos,\u201d<\/a> Lowry, 33, detailed how she got her period while recovering from the neck lift surgery, which caused more issues than she expected.<\/p>\n \u201cI bled through everything,\u201d Lowry divulged. \u201cI severely underestimated the healing that is of a neck lift\u201d<\/p>\n The reality TV star added, \u201cI have been fighting for my life.\u201d<\/p>\n Lowry added that her parenting responsibilities<\/a> added another battle as she recalled bleeding while taking five of her kids<\/a> to the dentist.\u00a0 (Lowry shares Elliott, 15, with Jo Rivera<\/strong>, Lincoln, 11, with Javi Marroquin<\/strong> and Lux, 8, and Creed, 5, with Chris Lopez.<\/strong> The podcast host and Elijah Scott<\/strong> also welcomed Rio in 2022 and announced the birth of twins Verse and Valley in 2024.)<\/p>\n The leakage issue was then compounded when she was unable to change before having to drop her children off\u00a0 at school.<\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cI bled through my clothes with my period \u2026 I bled through everything,\u201d Lowry admitted. \u201cI had to go into the schools like that\u201d<\/p>\n Lowry added that it had been some time since she last had a similar concern with her period, but the issue had returned.<\/p>\n \u201cI had it mostly under control,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd now I\u2019m back to bleeding through my stuff three times a day. I have been wearing men\u2019s boxer briefs to keep a pad in place with a tampon in.\u201d<\/p>\n The candid confession isn\u2019t the first time Lowry has spoken publicly about her period. In the past, she has encouraged parents to educate their kids, particularly their sons, about menstruation<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cTeach your sons about periods because we\u2019re on vacation and I just unexpectedly got my period,\u201d Lowry said in a video posted via TikTok in April. \u201cNow normally I wouldn\u2019t freak out about this, but I have four of my boys with me by myself.\u201d<\/p>\n You have successfully subscribed.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
