Demi Lovato<\/strong><\/a> is hard at work on new music!<\/p>\n The 33-year-old \u201cFast<\/a>\u201d singer is gearing up for the release of their ninth album, and teased the new era in a new interview, even revealing there\u2019s more in the works. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n This new era for Demi<\/strong> is \u201cvery empowering and I\u2019m having a lot of fun with it,\u201d as she tells Trisha Paytas<\/strong><\/a> on the latest episode of Just Trish Podcast<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n \u201cI feel like even musically, I had started this album off in such a different place, and then when I locked in with the sound, I would say it was about last August is when I found my sound and then the album kind of unraveled after that into what it is today,\u201d the star continued. \u201cNow I get to put it out and I\u2019m so excited. But it was so cool just having my album come to fruition and working with the right people. I have an incredible producer named Zhone<\/strong><\/a>, who\u2019s just killing it right now and making incredible stuff.\u201d <\/p>\n \u201cWhere I\u2019m at today, my music is a huge reflection of where I\u2019m at. I\u2019m feeling more confident in my skin. I am in a really great place in my life. I\u2019m happy, I\u2019m in love, and that was part of the reason why I started making this music,\u201d Demi<\/strong> continued. \u201cThe last album I made was Holy Fvck<\/em>, and it was rock. It was very emotionally charged. It was, you know, there was anger and there was angst and sadness, and I\u2019m just not in that place anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSo when I went to like make the next project, I was like, \u2018Okay, I\u2019m going to continue the rock stuff.\u2019 And then I was like, it\u2019s not resonating with me emotionally anymore,\u201d she said. \u201cI don\u2019t have anything to write that I\u2019m angry about. I\u2019m in such a great place. And so I wanted my music to be reflective of where I\u2019m at. And I feel like it does a really good job of do of portraying that.\u201d<\/p>\n \n
