Ronnie Ortiz-Magro<\/strong><\/a><\/span> is grateful for the current state of his relationship with ex Sammi \u201cSweetheart\u201d Giancola<\/span><\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m actually happy that me and Sam have grown so much and we have so much growth,\u201d Ronnie, 39, exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i> before the Thursday, September 10, season finale of Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/i><\/span><\/a>. \u201cWhatever animosity that was there or whatever bitterness is there is finally gone. We can coexist and we can work together.\u201d<\/p>\n

Although the MTV reality stars won\u2019t exactly be GTL \u2014 gym, tan, laundry, for the uninitiated \u2014 partners in crime, both parties have been able to make new memories together as the Jersey Shore<\/i> cast prepares to mark 15 years together.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe don\u2019t have to be best friends, but as long as the respect is there that we have for each other, I think that\u2019s the most [important],\u201d Ronnie continued. \u201cThat\u2019s the biggest thing is just showing respect for each other and where we both have come in our lives. And I think we both do a very good job of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tSammi \u201cSweetheart\u201d Giancola and Ronnie Ortiz-Magro\u2019s tumultuous relationship was one of the biggest storylines throughout the original MTV series. While Sammi was originally flirting with Mike \u201cThe Situation\u201d Sorrentino in the 2009 premiere, she ultimately found a connection with Ronnie. The duo began dating in season 1, leaving the shore house as a couple at [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In August, Sammi, 38, celebrated a significant milestone in her life when she welcomed a baby boy<\/span><\/a> with fianc\u00e9 Justin May<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While Ronnie didn\u2019t reach out after the news was confirmed via social media, he did \u201clike a couple of the photos of her, Justin and the baby on Instagram.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m very happy for them,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m very, very, very happy for the family that they have right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fans watched Ronnie and Sammi develop a connection during season 1 of Jersey Shore<\/i> back in 2009. The pair experienced several highs and lows before splitting for good in 2014.<\/p>\n

When Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/i> premiered in 2018, Sammi was noticeably missing from the show. She ultimately decided to come back, however, in 2023.<\/p>\n

As the cast \u2014 which also includes Pauly D<\/strong>, Vinny Guadagnino<\/strong>, Nicole \u201cSnooki\u201d Polizzi<\/strong>, Deena Nicole Cortese<\/strong>, Angelina Pivarnick<\/strong> and Jenni \u201cJWoww\u201d Farley<\/strong> \u2014 prepares to celebrate 15 years together in Thursday\u2019s season finale, both Ronnie and Mike \u201cThe Situation\u201d Sorrentino<\/strong> can\u2019t help but wonder what the show could look like in another 15 years.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese guys are my family. I\u2019m opening up my own treatment centers called the Archangel Centers over the next month. I\u2019m so excited for that,\u201d Mike, 43, told Us<\/i>. \u201cI think there\u2019s so much more story to tell. A lot of us have just started our family. \u2026 I believe there are a dozen children amongst us, which is a football team.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI wouldn\u2019t put it past anyone if our children got together because they\u2019re all very similar ages as us,\u201d he continued. \u201cOh my God. What a story that would be.\u201d<\/p>\n
