Brittany Cartwright<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about her budding romance with Brandon Hanson<\/strong>\u2014and she\u2019s keeping things chill for now.<\/p>\n

The Valley<\/em> star, 36, told TMZ<\/a><\/em> on September 9 that while the connection is strong, she and Hanson haven\u2019t slapped a label on their relationship yet.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re not technically boyfriend and girlfriend just yet,\u201d Cartwright said.<\/p>\n

The duo actually go way back. \u201cWe\u2019ve known each other for, like, 15 years. I met him back in Kentucky a long time ago,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

Cartwright gushed about Hanson, calling him \u201ca great person, great father, just all around a good person,\u201d adding, \u201cHe\u2019s making me happy. We\u2019re just focused on having fun and doing our thing right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for introducing Hanson to her son, Cruz, 4, she\u2019s taking it slow. \u201cJust seeing how it goes, taking the time,\u201d Brittany said. \u201cBut he\u2019s a great person. I really like him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brittany is in the midst of divorcing estranged husband Jax Taylor<\/strong><\/a>, with whom she shares Cruz. Their ups and downs\u2014including their eventual split\u2014were captured on The Valley<\/em> Season 2.<\/p>\n

An insider told Us Weekly<\/em> in August that Brittany and Brandon bonded over shared experiences. \u201cBrittany and Brandon have a lot in common and have bonded over their divorces,\u201d the source said. \u201cShe is really happy, and it feels good to have a genuine connection with someone again.\u201d At the time, Brandon had been separated from his estranged wife, Jasina Stanko, for seven months.<\/p>\n

Even Brittany\u2019s Valley<\/em> costar Kristen Doute<\/strong> has given her seal of approval. \u201cShe has someone in her life that\u2019s really amazing that I am head over heels for,\u201d Doute told People<\/em> in August. \u201cShe\u2019s dated people during her single years since her ex-husband, and I have not approved of them. This person is very wonderful and very cool. [He has a] very family-feeling.\u201d<\/p>\n

Before Hanson, Brittany was linked to singer-songwriter Will Gittens<\/strong>. In May 2025, Page Six<\/em> reported they were dating, though a separate source insisted they were \u201cjust friends.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brittany even dished about her dating life on Lala Kent<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cGive Them Lala\u201d podcast in May, recalling a hilarious moment with a crush. \u201cWe were in the shower, butt naked, and it was like I slipped on a banana peel. Like, \u2018Whoo!\u2019 I went straight back, and he thought I was gonna hit my head. Oh, it was so embarrassing, but then the way that we laughed about it was so cute,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
