Jade Cline<\/strong> has more questions than answers regarding her recent health scare.<\/p>\n

Following a brief hospitalization for a breast infection, the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter<\/i><\/span><\/a> star is trying her best to feel better.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, I went to the breast cancer and surgical center to get evaluated by a specialist,\u201d Cline, 28, shared via TikTok<\/span><\/a> on Tuesday, September 9, before being told it\u2019s just a \u201crandom infection.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201c[My doctor] said it\u2019s harder for antibiotics to get to your boob and your nipple,\u201d she continued. \u201cIt\u2019s farther away. \u2026 We still don\u2019t know what caused it or why, and it\u2019s still a surprise to me. I\u2019m thanking God so much that it\u2019s just an infection and not coming from something more serious. Thank God.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cline \u2014 who shares daughter Kloie, 7, with husband Sean Austin<\/strong> \u2014 first shared her health struggles over the weekend.<\/p>\n

According to the MTV reality star, she began feeling pain in her breasts at the end of August.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I was in church on Sunday, all I could remember at the end of service was how bad my boob hurt,\u201d she said via TikTok<\/span><\/a> on Saturday, September 6. \u201cAnd the pain didn\u2019t go away. It progressively got worse. I could tell it was swollen. It was hurting, and no, I don\u2019t have breast implants.\u201d<\/p>\n

While a doctor initially recommended antibiotics, the pain and discomfort continued. When she followed up, another health professional urged Cline to get additional care.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy doctor tells me, \u2018Yeah, it\u2019s a severe infection.\u2019 But she was like, \u2018The medicine that the doctor gave you is not strong enough to deal with this type of infection and you\u2019re borderline septic,\u2019\u201d Cline recalled. \u201cSo, she gives me basically what she says is the strongest antibiotic.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the Mayo Clinic<\/span><\/a>, sepsis is a serious condition in which the body responds improperly to an infection. The infection-fighting processes turn on the body, causing the organs to work poorly.<\/p>\n

Patients are recommended to visit a health care provider if symptoms of sepsis \u2014 or an infection or wound that isn\u2019t getting better \u2014 persist.<\/p>\n
