Charlie Sheen won’t continue to apologise<\/p>\n

The 60-year-old actor has grown tired of apologising for his past mistakes and is now focused on the future, hoping that his memoir and his Netflix documentary will encourage people to enjoy his acting work once again.<\/p>\n

The Hollywood star – whose new documentary is called aka Charlie Sheen<\/a> – told Interview magazine: “When people want to talk about the past and all this other frickin\u2019 s***, I\u2019ll be in a place to say, ‘Well, you know what? Here\u2019s the great news, buddy. You can watch it. You can read it. You can even listen to it. Here\u2019s your hat trick of choices’. <\/p>\n

“This is not an apology tour. Most of my fifties already were. It\u2019s a bit of a reintroduction because, dude, let\u2019s face it, there\u2019s a lot of people out there that still don\u2019t know my movies, don\u2019t know the early work, don\u2019t know the whole evolution of things. ‘Oh, he\u2019s the crazy guy with the tiger blood.’ I think it\u2019s a moment to just reintroduce myself to that part of my fan base.”<\/p>\n

Charlie insists that his documentary only “scratches the surface” of what he’s been through in his life.<\/p>\n

\nThe controversial actor – who has previously battled drug problems and legal issues – also described his memoir as being “pretty frickin\u2019 cool”.<\/p>\n

\nCharlie – who was the highest-paid actor on TV, before his personal troubles – explained: “The doc is fabulous, and I couldn\u2019t be happier with it, but there is a moment where it only scratches the surface of certain stories, where the book then takes you on the rest of the journey with me at the helm, which is pretty frickin\u2019 cool. <\/p>\n

\n“People are going to say, ‘Well, I\u2019ve seen the doc. Why should I buy your book?’ And I\u2019ll say, ‘Because there\u2019s more to the story.’ In fact, there\u2019s a quote in the book that says, ‘Just because you\u2019ve reached the bottom of the page doesn\u2019t mean you\u2019ve made it to the end of the story.'”<\/p>\n
