Fans are still reeling from the Vanderpump Rules<\/em> season 10 finale<\/a> \u2013 and so is Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong><\/a>. The Bravo star spoke exclusively to Us Weekly<\/em> about Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s reaction to how she handled Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s meltdown about the fallout from his affair<\/a> with Raquel Leviss<\/strong><\/a> and more.<\/p>\n \u201cEverybody else was chastising him. I didn\u2019t feel like joining the pack. I mean, it seemed so kind of slanted. Everything was against him, you know?\u201d the 62-year-old SUR owner told Us<\/em> at the Vanderpump Dogs Gala on Thursday, May 18. \u201cI\u2019ve known him for a long time. Of course, I\u2019m condemning what he did. That\u2019s why I said, \u2018You\u2019re not a bad person. You just did a bad thing.\u2019 And my heart was always with Ariana. Maybe I didn\u2019t kind of, you know, scream at him and lambast him, but everybody else had done that.\u201d<\/p>\n Madix, 37, told Andy Cohen<\/strong><\/a> on Wednesday, May 17,<\/a> that Vanderpump \u201cwas a little too nice to\u201d<\/a> Sandoval, 40, however, she added that she\u2019ll make an exception for the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> alum and husband Ken Todd<\/strong> <\/a>when it comes to cutting off everyone who is still on speaking terms with her ex-boyfriend.<\/p>\n \u201cThe man that was sitting in my living room, it felt like a broken man. So I just didn\u2019t want to pile on, to be honest,\u201d Vanderpump continued to Us<\/em>. \u201cHave I had conversations and held \u2019em accountable? Yes, I mean, I felt the same way, absolutely, that everybody else did. But at some point, they\u2019re like my children in some way. They\u2019ve grown up with me. \u2026 You might scream at him for a second, and I did that before, but when I saw him, then you\u2019ve gotta try to at least move forward or look for the path forward \u2014 even though it was too early to move forward [or] look for the path forward. But of course, we were all very upset. We felt duped. We were disgusted, we were hurt \u2014 all of those things.\u201d<\/p>\n The reality TV star added that Sandoval\u2019s breakdown was \u201cwas actually worse than we saw\u201d on the show.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd I think Vanderpump Rules<\/em> is really good at that when it comes to producing the show and everything, it was enough what we saw. Was it worse than that? Yes,\u201d she said. \u201cAnd that scares me when somebody\u2019s just so depressed. But I think it was a moment that it all kind of came to a head there with me, and he knew that, you know, he\u2019d lost so much from this whole choice that he\u2019d made.\u201d<\/p>\n Us confirmed in March that Madix and Sandoval split after nine years together when she discovered he had been sleeping with Leviss, 28, for several months.<\/p>\n \u201cThis group never, never, ever [failed] to surprise me. I mean, because they live the life off camera as well as on camera. It\u2019s not orchestrated,\u201d Vanderpump told Us<\/em> on Thursday. \u201cThey move together<\/a>. They have babies together. They go on vacation together. It\u2019s a revolving door. It just keeps going.\u201d<\/p>\n Vanderpump added that she saw Sandoval \u201cjust a few days ago\u201d in a group setting. \u201cWhen there are other people around, there\u2019s nothing more to say that hasn\u2019t been said,\u201d she said. \u201cWe had 12 hours at reunion where a lot of stuff came out and it was hard.\u201d<\/p>\n When it comes to reports that Sandoval and Leviss \u201cbroke up\u201d<\/a> as she remains in mental health treatment, Vanderpump noted: \u201cThat\u2019s an unknown \u2026 because I didn\u2019t think they\u2019d been together in the first place.\u201d<\/p>\n Vanderpump was joined by James Kennedy, Peter Madrigal<\/strong> and more at the 5th Vanderpump Dog Foundation GALA at The Maybourne Hotel in Beverly Hills on Thursday. The gala supports her Vanderpump Dog Foundation, whose initiatives include rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming dogs, as well as providing veterinary care, essential medication, food, vaccinations, and training, and international rescue efforts in countries like China and Peru.<\/p>\n \u201cTonight\u2019s going to be a beautiful night with Kristin Chenoweth<\/strong><\/a> singing,\u201d she told Us<\/em> before heading inside. \u201cShe sings like an angel.
