Lizzo<\/strong> is calling out the haters for questioning her weight loss methods in her newest song, \u201cIDGAS.\u201d<\/p>\n The singer and rapper took to Instagram this week to post a video<\/a> of her dancing and rapping along to a clip of the new song, featuring the lyrics, \u201cWhat you gonna say? I throw a** on the \u2018net for attention. What you gonna say? I lost weight. Let me guess, is that Ozempic?\u201d<\/p>\n Fans rallied to support her and the new song in the comments. \u201cI can\u2019t get enough!! the pen, the confidence, and most importantly the standing on business!!\u201d one fan commented.<\/p>\n \u201cLizzo really eating up the rap girlies!\u201d another fan added.<\/p>\n This comes after another recent Instagram post where Lizzo made reference to the hate comments she\u2019s received about her body. In a September 6 post<\/a>, the singer\/rapper posted a series of photos of herself in a black leather corset-style bodysuit with the caption \u201cMY WAIST IS RAGEBAIT.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans similarly expressed their support on that post with comments like \u201cUndeniably so beautiful\u201d and \u201cOMG I LOVE THIS LOOK.\u201d<\/p>\n Lizzo seems to be as unapologetic as ever about loving herself and addressing the haters following the September 5 release of My Face Still Hurts from Smiling<\/em>, the new extended version of her June 27 mixtape My Face Hurts from Smiling<\/em>.<\/p>\n Lizzo shared the album cover<\/a> on Instagram the day before its release, which featured the singer\/rapper posing with a huge smile on her face alongside both of her middle fingers covered with cartoon smiley faces.<\/p>\n The album\u2019s cover art, title, and lyrics all point to Lizzo\u2019s message that she is happy, thriving, and doesn\u2019t care what her haters might say about her.<\/p>\n Back in January of this year, Lizzo directly opened up about her weight loss journey in an Instagram post<\/a> saying, \u201cI did it. Today when I stepped on my scale, I reached my weight release goal. I haven\u2019t seen this number since 2014! Let this be a reminder you can do anything you put your mind to. Time for new goals!\u201d A screenshot of her weight tracking app included in the post revealed she had reduced her body fat by 16% since January of 2023.<\/p>\n Lizzo is standing firm in her opinion that her weight loss does not diminish her support of or participation in the body positivity movement.<\/p>\n \u201cBody positivity has nothing to do with staying the same,\u201d Lizzo shared in her cover interview<\/a> for Women\u2019s Health U.K.<\/em>\u2018s September Issue. \u201cBody positivity is the radical act of daring to exist loudly and proudly in a society that told you you shouldn\u2019t exist.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
