James<\/a>, four, and daughter Elle, two, with her real estate executive husband of five years Andrew Joblon, 40, revealed the news by displaying her baby bump while at the Cannes Film Festival.<\/p>\nBest known for playing Rebekah Mikaelson in \u2018The Vampire Diaries\u2019, she showed off her bump at the premiere of Martin Scorsese\u2019s much-hyped Western film \u2018Killers of the Flower Moon\u2019 on Saturday (20.05.23) while wearing a flowing grey gown on the red carpet.<\/p>\n
She has also said on Instagram she is expecting another child, saying in one post: \u201cMe and no 3.\u201d<\/p>\n
Claire also commented in a post on her Instagram Story her family were \u201chappy\u201d as \u201cwe are growing\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nAmong the celebrities to congratulate the actress were her ex-\u2018Vampire Diaries\u2019 co-star Nina Dobrev, 34, who posted: \u201cOmg Claire!!!!! YES!!!!!! Congrats.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMandy Moore, 39, added: \u201cAwwww congrats friend!!!\u201d<\/p>\n
\nClaire \u2013 who was previously married to film producer Matt Kaplan, 39, from 2016 to 2017 \u2013 and her husband Andrew, who she wed in 2018, suffered a miscarriage before the birth of their son.<\/p>\n
\nShe said in a cover story for Mini Magazine in 2019: \u201cWe lost the baby late in the first trimester. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt was devastating and I felt broken and ashamed. Because I experienced such intense grief, I found it very difficult to process things and move on.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nThe actress got pregnant five months later but said she felt like she was \u201calways waiting for something to go wrong\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe added in an Instagram post in March 2018: \u201cI debated sharing this so soon and I\u2019m still frightened about making such a private struggle public, but I\u2019m doing it anyway because it\u2019s important.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBecause of the miscarriage, I didn\u2019t want to get my hopes up. It was quite difficult to connect with the baby and I was on edge for most of the first trimester.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nClaire marked her daughter\u2019s birth on social media, saying on Instagram: \u201cShe\u2019s here. Our sweet girl, Elle. After 27.5 hours of labor, she flew into the world and expanded our hearts. We are so grateful for our healthy baby and cannot wait for her to meet her big brother.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAndrew said online at the time about his wife she had \u201cagain proved to me she is my hero and a true warrior\u201d and said: \u201cI love you with all my heart.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nHe added: \u201cThank you so much for birthing this sweet little girl in a challenging year.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAll the women out there, no debate from me, you guys are the superior gender and it\u2019s not even close!! My heart is full.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
