{"id":191990,"date":"2025-09-09T19:02:19","date_gmt":"2025-09-09T19:02:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2025\/09\/09\/aubrey-plaza-selling-la-home-months-after-husband-jeff-baenas-death\/"},"modified":"2025-09-09T19:02:19","modified_gmt":"2025-09-09T19:02:19","slug":"aubrey-plaza-selling-la-home-months-after-husband-jeff-baenas-death","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/entertainment.runfyers.com\/index.php\/2025\/09\/09\/aubrey-plaza-selling-la-home-months-after-husband-jeff-baenas-death\/","title":{"rendered":"Aubrey Plaza Selling LA Home Months After Husband Jeff Baena\u2019s Death"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifeandstylemag.com\/posts\/aubrey-plaza-grieves-late-husband-jeff-baena-its-a-daily-struggle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Aubrey Plaza<\/strong><\/a> is closing a chapter of her life in Los Angeles following unimaginable loss.<\/p>\n<p>The<em> Parks and Recreation<\/em> alum, 41, has listed her Los Feliz Oaks home for $6.5 million, just eight months after the tragic death of her husband, writer and director <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifeandstylemag.com\/posts\/aubrey-plaza-grieves-late-husband-jeff-baena-its-a-daily-struggle\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Jeff Baena<\/strong><\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realtor.com\/news\/celebrity-real-estate\/aubrey-plaza-husband-jeff-baena-suicide-home-sale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Realtor.com<\/em><\/a> was the first to confirm the listing.<\/p>\n<p>According to the property description, the 4,064-square-foot estate is a \u201cbreathtaking Spanish compound\u201d that \u201csits behind gates on an expansive double lot\u201d at the base of the coveted Los Feliz Oaks. Featuring four bedrooms and six bathrooms, the private home boasts luxurious amenities including a screening room, wine cellar, pool, oversized steam room, and state-of-the-art sound system.<\/p>\n<p>The decision to put the home on the market comes nearly a year after Baena died by suicide in early January at the property. He was 47. At the time, Plaza\u2019s spokesperson issued a heartfelt statement to *Us Weekly* on January 6, saying, \u201cThis is an unimaginable tragedy. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has offered support. Please respect our privacy during this time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Plaza has since opened up about her grief. During an appearance on <strong>Amy Poehler<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cGood Hang\u201d podcast on August 19, Poehler acknowledged the loss early in the episode.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo get it out of the way, people wanna see you and see how you are,\u201d Poehler, 53, told Plaza. \u201cThey love you, and they wanna see you. You had this terrible, terrible, tragic year. You lost your husband. I think, like, I\u2019m OK, but it\u2019s a daily struggle, obviously,\u201d Plaza shared.<\/p>\n<p>She went on to describe her grief with a vivid analogy inspired by the action-horror film <em>The Gorge.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI swear, when I watched it, I was like, that feels like what my grief is like,\u201d Plaza explained. \u201cWhere it\u2019s like, at all times, there\u2019s like a giant ocean of awfulness that\u2019s, like, right there, and I can see it, and sometimes I just wanna dive into it and be in it. And then, sometimes, I just look at it, and sometimes I just try to get away from it. But it\u2019s always there, and the monster people are trying to get me like <strong>Miles Teller<\/strong> and<strong> Anya Taylor-Joy<\/strong>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>If you or someone you know is struggling or in crisis, help is available.
