\u2022\u00a0ABCs 911<\/i> has announced two promotions in the lead up to the ninth season! Corrine Massiah (May Grant) and Elijah M. Cooper (Harry Grant), who play the children of Angela Bassett’s character Athena, have been bumped to series regulars.<\/p>\n
\u2022 This is a return to series regular status for Massiah, who has been with the show since season 1. Her role was reduced in seasons 6-8 while Massiah was focusing on school full time. The character of Harry had also been a series regular since season 1 and was softly written off the show in the middle of season 5. The character was recast with Cooper in season 7.<\/p>\n
\u2022 At the ABC Summer Soir\u00e9e, the duo teased some storylines. They mentioned the way that every character would still be grappling with grief over the loss of Bobby (Peter Krause). Cooper also added that the two were transitioning into adulthood and trying to find themselves within a changing family dynamic.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Last weekend ABC threw a big fancy end-of-summer party to celebrate their Fall slate. Massiah, Cooper, Jennifer Love-Hewitt (Maddie) (along with husband and past (and probably future) 911<\/i> guest star Brian Hallisay (Doug))), Oliver Stark (Buck), Ryan Guzman (Eddie), and Gavin McHugh (Christopher) were all on hand to represent the show.<\/p>\n
