Below Deck<\/em><\/a>\u2018s Captain Kerry Titheradge<\/strong> poked fun at the prospect of taking off his shirt.<\/p>\n

During the Monday, September 8, episode of the hit Bravo series, the last guests of the charter season asked deckhands Kyle Stillie<\/strong> and Damo Yorg<\/strong> to \u201cbe shirtless\u201d before taking them on a ride in the water.<\/p>\n

Kerry showed his support<\/a> for the request.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell we are here to please, right?\u201d he said before elaborating in a confessional. \u201cI am loving their energy. They are flirty and fun but I don\u2019t see them crossing the line.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kerry added: \u201cIf I didn\u2019t have a dad bod, my shirt would be off too.\u201d<\/p>\n

Season 12, which premiered in June 2025, offered some rare insight<\/a> into Captain Kerry and his personal life. A June episode mentioned his girlfriend, Gh\u00f6n\u00fcl Bihan<\/strong>, when he discussed how they originally met.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy girlfriend, they get one day off a week [on their boat],\u201d he told stew Barbara Kulaif<\/strong>. \u201cShe worked for me when I was married. A few years later, I said, \u2018How about we go out for dinner?’\u201d<\/p>\n

Captain Kerry joined Below Deck in season 11 after previously starring on the short-lived Below Deck Adventure<\/em> spinoff. He took over for Captain Lee Rosbach<\/strong>, who was on Below Deck<\/em><\/a> since it originally premiered in 2013.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat came right out of left field. I did not see that one coming at all,\u201d Lee exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> in May 2023. \u201c[I was told], \u2018We would like to move in a new direction.\u2019 But I mean, that\u2019s kind of a clich\u00e9 that everybody uses when they find themselves in that situation where they\u2019re going to let somebody go. \u2018I\u2019m going to move in a new direction. We want to freshen it up a little.\u2019 [They are] tired clich\u00e9s that get overused.\u201d<\/p>\n

Below Deck, which premiered in 2013, explored the glamorous world of yachting and the not as beautiful behind-the-scenes situations that the crew must handle. The first season introduced viewers to Captain Lee Rosbach and [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kerry, meanwhile, was thankful for all the Below Deck<\/em> captains for welcoming him into the franchise.<\/p>\n

\u201cEverybody [reached out]. On the way down to Grenada, I was chatting with Lee in the car. He was talking about the boat. He talked about Fraser [Olender] <\/strong>and Ben [Willoughby]<\/strong>,\u201d he explained to Us<\/em> in May 2024. \u201c[Captain] Jason [Chambers]<\/strong> reached out. [Captain] Glenn [Shephard]<\/strong> reached out. We pick on each other a lot, so he calls me his stunt double. It\u2019s a big family. We genuinely are. It\u2019s great.\u201d<\/p>\n
