Prince Harry<\/strong><\/a> has paid tribute to his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II<\/a> on the third anniversary of her death.<\/p>\n The Duke of Sussex, who landed in London for a four-day visit on Monday, headed straight to Windsor to lay a wreath at St George\u2019s Chapel \u2013 where his grandmother is buried. Queen Elizabeth, the longest-reigning monarch in British history, died at age 96<\/a> on September 8, 2022.<\/p>\n Harry is said to have wanted to pay his respects to his grandmother privately. He was taken to the chapel<\/a> where he married Meghan Markle<\/strong><\/a>, by his security team shortly after touching down in the UK Monday morning.<\/p>\n Despite being close in proximity to the Wales family, the prince did not visit his brother, Prince William<\/strong><\/a> and sister-in-law, Kate Middleton<\/a>,<\/strong> who were in Berkshire visiting the Women\u2019s Institute<\/a> to honor the late Queen, who was president of the institution.<\/p>\n Prince Harry is in London for Monday\u2019s WellChild Awards<\/a>. He has supported the charity for sick children for 17 years and will present a prize. However, unlike last year when Harry was in and out of the UK for a fleeting visit, he will be in England for four days.<\/p>\n In addition to visiting Nottingham for a charity engagement, Harry is hoping to visit his father King Charles<\/strong><\/a>, whom he has not seen since last February.<\/p>\n Sources close to the Duke of Sussex say he has been in touch with his father\u2019s staff in the hope of finding a time in their diaries for a face-to-face meeting. Buckingham Palace has declined to comment on the possibility of a meeting.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
