An ex-boyfriend of Laken Snelling<\/strong><\/a>, the former University of Kentucky competitive cheerleader accused of hiding her baby\u2019s dead body in a closet, has provided his DNA to authorities.<\/span><\/p>\n

Izaiah Hall<\/strong> recently gave the DNA sample to police in connection to the case<\/a>, his father told the New York Post <\/i><\/a>on Saturday, September 6.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cLexington police had him come down to the station to give a sample,\u201d Hall\u2019s father, Justin Smith<\/strong>, said. \u201cI don\u2019t know anything on this and we don\u2019t know if Izaiah is the father or not.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Hall, 21, is currently a quarterback at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, Kentucky, where he is studying Business Administration.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tAn expert pathologist helped explain the inconclusive autopsy results surrounding the death of former University of Kentucky competitive cheerleader Laken Snelling\u2019s baby. The death of Snelling\u2019s infant, who was found stuffed into a trash bag in Snelling\u2019s closet last week, was ruled inconclusive and \u201cextensive microscopic analyses are essential to determine the cause and manner [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He attended Anderson County High School in Clinton, Tennessee, roughly 50 miles away from where Snelling, 21, studied at Jefferson County High School in Dandridge, Tennessee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It is unclear how long Hall and Snelling dated, or when the couple broke up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t really want to go into any more detail at this stage,\u201d Hall\u2019s father told the Post<\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Social media posts showed Snelling posing with another man<\/a> as recently as June. It is not clear if the man from the posts is connected to the death of Snelling\u2019s baby in any way, or if the couple was still together at the time of the infant\u2019s death.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Snelling was arrested at her home in Lexington, Kentucky on August 30 and charged with Abuse of a Corpse, Tampering with Physical Evidence and Concealing the Birth of an Infant.<\/span><\/p>\n

Authorities had been dispatched to the home on August 27 after receiving a call about an unresponsive infant.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to an arrest citation, the \u201cinfant was located wrapped in a towel inside of a black trash bag.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

During her interview on the scene with authorities, Snelling \u201cadmitted to giving birth\u201d and to \u201cconcealing the birth by cleaning any evidence, placing all cleaning items used inside of a black trash bag, including the infant, who was wrapped in a towel.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Snelling appeared in a Lexington courtroom on Tuesday, September 2, where she pleaded not guilty to all charges.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
