Kardashians <\/span><\/i><\/a>star Khlo\u00e9 Kardashia<\/strong><\/a>n<\/strong><\/a> was slammed by fans who accused the Hulu<\/a> personality of being \u201ctone deaf\u201d after showing off her wardrobe on social media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn my best Kim K voice,\u201d Khlo\u00e9, 38, captioned a series of photos on Friday, May 19, wearing a white T-shirt<\/a> featuring sister Kim Kardashian<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s face plastered on the front with her infamous line, \u201cGet your f\u2013king ass up and work!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The SKIMS<\/a> founder\u2019s advice \u2013 which caused quite the stir<\/a> when she first said it in a March 2022 interview with <\/span>Variety <\/span><\/i><\/a>\u2013 had fans in an uproar again as one fan responded to Khlo\u00e9\u2019s post saying, \u201cThis was not the \u2018iconic\u2019 moment y\u2019all think it was.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI was hoping she was making fun of it, not supporting it, [because] there\u2019s no way they could think this was a good thing,\u201d another follower wrote, while yet another questioned, \u201cWhy would you bring this shirt out of the closet?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n While some comments had fans revealing their own struggles to make ends meet, others were calling for the famous family to \u201cremain humble.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s easy to say get your ass up and work when you start out with an inheritance of 5 million left by Daddy!!\u201d one follower commented. \u201cStarting out in the dugout is a lil harder than starting out on 3rd Base!!! Let that soak in!!! Tone [deaf]!!\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n After Kim\u2019s comments about surrounding yourself with \u201cpeople who want to work\u201d went viral, she opened up to ABC News<\/a>\u2019 Robin Roberts<\/strong>, claiming that her words were taken out of context<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThat statement that I said was without questions and conversation around it, and it became a soundbite really with no context,\u201d Kim said in April 2022. \u201cThat soundbite I came off of the notion and the question right before which was, \u2018After 20 years of being in the business, you\u2019re famous for being famous.’\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She went on to say, \u201cThe advice that I would give is just having a social media presence and being on a reality show does not mean overnight success and you have to really work hard to get there.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cEven if it might seem like it\u2019s easy and that you can build a really successful business off of social media \u2014 and you can, if you put in a lot of hard work,\u201d the <\/span>Keeping Up With The Kardashians <\/span><\/i><\/a>alum continued. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t a blanket statement towards women or to feel like I don\u2019t respect the work or think that they don\u2019t work hard, I know that they do.
