Madelyn Cline<\/strong><\/a> is teasing the upcoming fifth and final season of Outer Banks<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n The 27-year-old actress will reprise her starring role of Sarah Cameron for one last time, and filming started back in June<\/a>. <\/p>\n In a new interview, Madelyn<\/strong> dished on a possible time jump in the upcoming season, filming as her character being pregnant and one fan ship she is not for. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWell, I\u2019m not wearing a baby bump. Everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Where\u2019s the baby?\u2019 I don\u2019t know,\u201d she told Variety<\/a><\/em> about her character being pregnant in season five. \u201cI\u2019m not jumping over walls and getting thrown off the back of boats and sprinting at full speed away from bad guys in a silicone baby bump. When I said yes to this storyline, that was my one stipulation: \u2018Please don\u2019t do that to me in the South Carolina summer heat.\u2019 Most of July, the heat index was 100-116.\u201d<\/p>\n On the possibility of a time jump in the final season, Madelyn<\/strong> revealed there\u2019s not one. <\/p>\n \u201cWe pick up pretty soon after Season 4 ends,\u201d she teased. \u201cWe have one big time jump in all five, but just like the prior seasons, everything happens in such a short amount of time; it feels like it would be this huge, months-long adventure, but it actually doesn\u2019t take that much time at all. I think this one follows the same formula.\u201d<\/p>\n Fans may be shipping Kiara (Madison Bailey<\/strong><\/a>) and Rafe (Drew Starkey<\/strong><\/a>), but Madelyn is not here for it. <\/p>\n \u201cI hate that. I really don\u2019t want to yuck anyone\u2019s yum, but I actually think that that\u2019s really yuck. Just because there\u2019s a single character doesn\u2019t mean she has to get with anyone, especially not the psychotic older brother,\u201d she said. \u201cBut maybe that\u2019s just me! I understand \u2014 I, too, am a girl who looks and says, \u2018I can fix him.\u2019 I get it. I\u2019ve been there. We\u2019ve all been there. But I just don\u2019t think Rafe Cameron is for Kiara. She deserves better. He deserves a therapist.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSometimes, just because there\u2019s a single girl, we refuse to try and pass the Bechdel test. So much has happened to her. She\u2019s gone through so much, and to just throw her into a relationship storyline, I think kind of downplays all the exploration of grief, and basically her whole arc,\u201d Madelyn<\/strong> continued. \u201cKiara\u2019s always been such a strong character, and I love seeing her explore coming into her power.
