Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> was not on hand to support Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> at his Kansas City Chiefs 2025-2026 season opener.<\/p>\n

The Chiefs played against the Los Angeles Chargers in the Friday, September 5, game, held at Arena Corinthians in S\u00e3o Paulo, Brazil.<\/p>\n

While fans were eager to see the newly engaged pop star step out to cheer on her fianc\u00e9 in the South American country, Swift was notably absent from the game.<\/p>\n

Swift, 35, has become a regular attendee of Kelce\u2019s games since the couple went public with their relationship in September 2023. She was by his side throughout last season, including when the Chiefs lost the 2025 Super Bowl<\/a> to the Philadelphia Eagles in February.<\/p>\n

Swift made her first appearance at a Kansas City Chiefs game in September 2023, watching them defeat the Chicago Bears from the Kelce family\u2019s private suite. After cheering alongside the tight end\u2019s mom, Donna Kelce, she and Travis [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kelce, 35, returned to the field in Brazil one week after he and Swift announced their engagement<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cYour English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married \ud83e\udde8,\u201d the pair captioned a joint Instagram post on August 26.<\/p>\n

The accompanying photos showed Kelce getting down on one knee in a flower-filled garden and Swift debuting her old mine brilliant cut diamond ring<\/a> designed by Kindred Lubbock at Artifex Fine Jewelry.<\/p>\n
