Producers of The Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/i><\/span><\/a> are taking steps to make sure the Bravo show returns with the right cast.<\/p>\n \u201cSome of The Real Housewives of New Jersey<\/i> cast have test-filmed,\u201d a source exclusively shared with Us Weekly<\/i>. \u201cThere are potential new cast members who filmed with Margaret Josephs<\/strong>, Dolores Catania<\/strong> and Melissa Gorga<\/strong> in mid-August.\u201d<\/p>\n Test-filming is a common practice that reality shows do before production officially begins.<\/p>\n As the source explained, \u201cThey want to see how the new girls work on camera with some veteran cast members from the show.\u201d<\/p>\n One potential newbie producers are looking at is Michelle Barone<\/strong>. According to social media<\/span><\/a>, the \u201cMichelle Barone RED\u201d podcast host is friendly with original cast member Teresa Giudice<\/strong> and Jackie Goldschneider<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Although Teresa, Jackie and Jen Fessler<\/strong> did not test-film, the insider said they \u201care still in consideration to be part of the new season.\u201d<\/p>\n As of now, everything is still up in the air.\u00a0 As a Bravo spokesperson told Us<\/i>, \u201cNo official casting decisions have been made.\u201d<\/p>\n The Real Housewives of New Jersey <\/i>has been on a hiatus ever since season 14 concluded in August 2024.<\/p>\n The Bravo show saw the cast divided with Teresa, Jackie, and Jennifer Aydin<\/strong> on one side and Margaret, Melissa, Danielle Cabral<\/strong> and Rachel Fuda<\/strong> on the other. (Dolores and Jen tried their best to stay neutral.)<\/p>\n Andy Cohen<\/strong> has maintained that the show has never been canceled. Instead, a team is working behind the scenes to figure out the best way forward.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was really on a deep pause, and we are actively there casting and looking at the future of what that will be,\u201d Andy said during a June episode<\/span><\/a> of The View<\/i><\/span><\/a>. \u201cIt\u2019s a great franchise, and we love it.
