He\u2019s here. <\/span>Counting On <\/span><\/i><\/a>alum Joy-Anna Forsyth<\/strong><\/a> (n\u00e9e Duggar) and husband Austin Forsyth<\/strong><\/a> welcomed baby No. 3.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s here!\u201d Joy, 25, shared via Instagram on Friday, May 19. \u201cThank you all for praying \u2026 Mama and baby are recovering well.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair \u2013 who are already parents to son Gideon<\/a> and daughter Evelyn Mae<\/a> \u2013 discovered they were expecting their third child while vacationing in Alaska<\/a> in September 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI think I might be pregnant,\u201d Joy said before taking a pregnancy test in their announcement video shared via YouTube the following month. \u201cWe\u2019ve been trying. I\u2019m really, really excited if we are. If we\u2019re not, then that\u2019s fine too. Hopefully, it\u2019s positive. I\u2019d be so, so thrilled. Austin is in the other room, so I\u2019m gonna video our reveal together just to see.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The former reality star<\/a> was shocked to find out that baby No. 3 was a boy at their November 2022 gender reveal party<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI am completely shocked,\u201d she said in a YouTube video of the event. \u201cA hundred percent thought that it was a girl. Convinced myself that it was a girl. Austin thought that it was a girl.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Joy-Anna and Austin tied the knot in May 2017<\/a>, after publicly announcing their courtship<\/a> the previous November.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cYou know, over the years, I have just been watching and I really admire her heart for the Lord and her character. She\u2019s such a diligent worker. She gets all the younger siblings working. She\u2019s a good delegator,\u201d Austin gushed about his bride, \u201cand then, of course, her beauty.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Nine months after their wedding, Joy gave birth to the couple\u2019s first child, son Gideon, in February 2018. After suffering a devastating miscarriage<\/a> more than halfway through her second pregnancy in 2019, daughter Evelyn was born in August 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m really looking forward to the journey of this pregnancy and all the different stages it will bring,\u201d Austin said of baby No. 3. \u201cIt\u2019s really exciting and I feel so blessed to be a dad!
