Love is in the air \u2014 and Travis Kelce<\/strong> <\/a>can\u2019t stop smiling about it.<\/p>\n The Kansas City Chiefs star, 35, is opening up for the first time about his romantic proposal to Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>, just one week after the couple shocked the world with their engagement announcement.<\/p>\n On the September 3 episode of his \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast<\/a> with brother Jason Kelce<\/strong><\/a>, Travis got candid about the life-changing moment. Jason, 37, wasted no time bringing up the big news, telling listeners, \u201cTravis, we gotta talk about it,\u201d to which Travis playfully fired back, \u201cI don\u2019t think we do.\u201d<\/p>\n But of course, they did. Jason reminded fans of the couple\u2019s viral Instagram announcement, saying, \u201cIn case you missed the Instagram post heard \u2018round the world, Travis and Taylor are engaged! Yay!\u201d<\/p>\n Grinning, Travis thanked his brother \u2014 and everyone who\u2019s been celebrating with them. \u201cThat\u2019s right, that\u2019s right. And I appreciate everybody that reached out and sent something and all the posts and all the excitement that\u2019s been going on. It\u2019s been really fun telling everybody who I\u2019m going to be spending the rest of my life with.\u201d<\/p>\n When Jason pressed him on how it feels to finally call Taylor his fianc\u00e9e, Travis lit up. \u201cExciting, it\u2019s been awesome,\u201d he admitted. He even revealed that he introduced Taylor as his fianc\u00e9e for the first time at the Cincinnati Bearcats game last week. \u201cIt was my first time introducing Taylor as my fianc\u00e9e to a few of my teammates. So yeah, it was pretty cool.\u201d<\/p>\n Jason teased his younger brother, asking if he ever gets butterflies using the new title. \u201cDon\u2019t you get giddy saying it?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n Travis didn\u2019t hold back. \u201cYeah, I do. I still get giddy, exciting times,\u201d he confessed.<\/p>\n The tight end also offered some heartfelt advice to anyone thinking about popping the question. \u201cMan, you\u2019ve gotta know your gal. You\u2019ve gotta know your gal or your significant other.
