Jessica Simpson<\/strong><\/a> and her estranged husband Eric Johnson<\/strong><\/a> have been spotted traveling together to Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

In photos published by multiple outlets including TMZ<\/em> <\/a>and Page Six<\/em><\/a> on Friday, August 29, the former couple were photographed boarding a Southwest Airlines flight from Burbank to Las Vegas.<\/p>\n

Photos showed Simpson and Johnson, both 45, sitting in the same row during the flight with a middle seat left empty between them. Their kids did not appear to be traveling with their parents for the trip. (Simpson and Johnson share Maxwell, 13, Ace, 12, and Birdie, 6.)<\/p>\n

Once they touched down in Sin City, the pair remained tight-lipped on their current relationship status<\/a> when asked by a TMZ<\/em> reporter but indicated they were in town to see the Newlywed<\/em> alum\u2019s sister Ashlee<\/strong> perform. Ashlee is due to take the stage at Voltaire at the Venetian Resort on Friday, August 29 and Saturday, August 30.<\/p>\n

A source exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em><\/a> earlier this month that Simpson had been enjoying \u201ca new sense of confidence and is coming back into her own\u201d following the break-up.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s doing well since the split,\u201d the insider previously told Us<\/em>. \u201cShe\u2019s a different person since she\u2019s been out of the relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to the source, Simpson\u2019s 10-year marriage had been \u201cholding her down,\u201d and she \u201cwasn\u2019t happy for a long time\u201d due to \u201ctrust and communication issues\u201d that \u201cjust got bigger.\u201d<\/p>\n
