Sabrina Carpenter<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about the controversy surrounding her Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/strong><\/a><\/em> album cover and she has revealed her parents\u2019 surprising reaction. <\/p>\n The 26-year-old singer is pictured <\/a>kneeling on the ground with someone pulling her hair in the air.<\/p>\n Sabrina<\/strong> has faced backlash from conservative people for using sex to sell her music and she has hit back several times already<\/a>.<\/p>\n Now, she\u2019s opening up about the album cover.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cY\u2019all need to get out more, I think,\u201d Sabrina <\/strong>said on CBS Mornings<\/em>, in response to people who take issue with her album artwork. <\/p>\n She continued, \u201cI was actually shocked because between me, my friends, family, and the people I always share my music and art with first, it just wasn\u2019t even a conversation. It was just like, it\u2019s perfect for what the album is [and] what it represents.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cEverything about it to me just felt like so opposite of like the world ending,\u201d Sabrina <\/strong>said.<\/p>\n She said that the meaning behind the cover is \u201cbeing in on your lack of control and when you want to be in control. I think as a young woman, you\u2019re just as aware of when you\u2019re in control as when you\u2019re not. And I think some of those are choices. And I think for me, this whole album was about the humanity of allowing yourself to make those mistakes, knowing when you\u2019re, you know, putting yourself in a situation that will probably end up poorly, but it\u2019s going to teach you something. So there\u2019s a lot of different meanings.\u201d <\/p>\n Sabrina <\/strong>added that when the album cover came out, critics \u201chadn\u2019t heard the project. They don\u2019t know me, they don\u2019t know my intentions. They don\u2019t know the stories I\u2019m telling. I try to take it with a grain of salt and also know that my fans that know me, and know the person behind the music, look at that photo and they know exactly what it is.<\/p>\n So, what do her parents think?<\/p>\n \u201cAnd people that don\u2019t know who I am absolutely look at that photo and go, like, \u2018Where are her parents?\u2019\u2026 My parents actually saw the photo and they loved it!\u201d she said.<\/p>\n Sabrina <\/strong>just shared rare comment about her famous ex-boyfriend<\/a>. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
