\u201cWe did 75 Hard after [our son] Riley was born and, man, did we crush,\u201d Trainor explained. \u201cThen, we heard more and more of our friends \u2014 and even our doctors \u2014 were on Mounjaro and Ozempic.\u201d She added, \u201cI was like, \u2018I don\u2019t want any of that,\u2019 and \u2018I know how to do it on my own.\u2019 I could do that, but when I asked my doctor, I was like, \u2018Tell me everything.\u2019 I did the research, and I felt safe.\u201d<\/p>\n
Because they \u201cdo everything together,\u201d Sabara joined Trainor on the weight-loss journey. \u201cI also gained some [sympathy] pregnancy weight,\u201d he admitted. \u201cWe\u2019ve been on this journey for a while and we learned how there are right ways to do it.\u201d<\/p>\n
Trainor reflected on her transformation after being honored by Billboard Women in Music as a Hitmaker in March 2025. \u201cWhat a dream!\u201d she wrote on Instagram, adding that it was \u201ca little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here. This is what it\u2019s like to be a woman in the music industry.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cNo, I don\u2019t look like I did 10 years ago. I\u2019ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me. I\u2019ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I\u2019m so glad I did because I feel great,\u201d she continued.<\/p>\n
Trainor concluded, \u201cHere\u2019s to celebrating talent, growth, and the power of putting yourself first. Let\u2019s keep shifting the convo to what REALLY matters.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
