I really didn\u2019t speak any English and I flunked the first grade. I couldn\u2019t practice at home because my parents insisted that we speak Italian,\u201d the former Food Network chef shared in an Instagram <\/a>post.<\/p>\n \u201cEverything was about Italian food and culture in my house, so when I started on Food Network, it didn\u2019t occur to me to not pronounce those words correctly.
