He\u2019s got too many things going against him at that point.\u2019 He had gotten a staph infection and three other hospital-born bacterial viruses like Serratia, Pseudomonas, one thing after another, and the doctors were just saying, \u2018He just doesn\u2019t have the strength to get through this,\u2019\u201d Mary<\/strong> recalled of her husband\u2019s stay in the hospital following the medical event.<\/p>\n According to Mary<\/strong>, she believed that Randy<\/strong> was still going to pull through despite the complications. <\/p>\n \u201cThat\u2019s when I went to him. That was the moment that I knew that Randy Travis<\/strong> was gonna make it because he squeezed my hand and a tear went down his face. And I said, \u2018He\u2019s still fighting,\u2019\u201d Mary<\/strong> told the outlet. \u201cAnd I meant that, and Randy<\/strong> meant it. And I knew at that point in time, because he had every odd in the world against him, and he wasn\u2019t giving up. And I was so encouraged by that, to be honest.
