Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Mike Danna<\/strong> might use Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> and Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s engagement as a catalyst to return a favor to the pop star.<\/span><\/p>\n

Danna, 27, was asked if he had thought about a present for Kelce and Swift, both 35, who announced they were engaged<\/a> on Tuesday, August 26.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll think of a good little engagement gift,\u201d Danna told reporters at Chiefs practice<\/a> on Tuesday, shortly after the engagement news dropped. \u201cIt will be something special for them. Maybe some Pop-Tarts back to her. It won\u2019t be homemade.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s homemade Pop-Tarts have become the stuff of legend<\/a>, especially within the Chiefs organization.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The singer baked a batch of them for the team\u2019s linemen last season, which Danna remembered fondly.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cListen, them things will get you in trouble,\u201d he said Tuesday. \u201cThose are dessert and those are fire. If you have one, best believe you\u2019re gonna want two. Maybe three. She did Pop-Tarts for the whole position groups. The D-line was all over those.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Danna continued, \u201cAs soon we we found out it was from her, we were like, \u2018Yeah, we need about four more boxes of those.\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Swift\u2019s baking skills were so impressive that offensive lineman Chris Jones<\/strong> had to get the recipe<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cYou know what, shout-out to Tay Tay,\u201d Jones, 31, told the Kansas City Star in February. \u201cHer Pop-Tarts are amazing.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Jones continued, \u201cI was asking Trav [because] I don\u2019t know how she gets the crust of the Pop-Tarts so fire. The crust tastes like biscuits, I swear to you. But, shout-out to Tay Tay, she\u2019s a real one.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Danna took the podium before Chiefs practice on Monday, and barely had time to digest news of Kelce and Swift\u2019s engagement.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI just got told 30 seconds ago,\u201d Danna told reporters. \u201cBut that\u2019s awesome. I\u2019m so happy for them \u2014 Trav, Taylor, that\u2019s a wonderful time in their life. A wonderful part of their journey. That\u2019s a beautiful thing to see.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Danna said he has only been around Swift \u201conce or twice,\u201d but gushed about her future with the Chiefs superstar tight end.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s a great thing to see,\u201d he said. \u201cSeeing them settle down, seeing all [those] happy smiles and happy faces between the two.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
