The reality competition ran for 18 seasons and ended in 2020. Earlier this month, Netflix released the three-part docuseries <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/where-are-biggest-loser-trainers-after-backlash-bob-harper-jillian-michaels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>Fit For TV: The Reality of The Biggest Loser<\/i><\/a>, which depicted Michaels as behaving harshly toward contestants and supplying them with caffeine pills to lose weight.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Michaels addressed whether she would take legal action against Netflix, her fellow <i>Biggest Loser<\/i> trainer <strong>Bob Harper<\/strong> or the show\u2019s doctor-in-residence, Dr. <strong>Robert Huizenga<\/strong>. (She previously claimed in an August 19 interview with TMZ that she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/entertainment\/news\/jillian-michaels-breaks-silence-on-netflixs-biggest-loser-docuseries\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was meeting with attorney <strong>Bryan Freedman<\/strong><\/a> about her legal options. <i>Us Weekly <\/i>reached out to Freedman.)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">\u201cTo be totally honest with you, at the moment I\u2019m choosing my battles because there are a lot to fight,\u201d she said in her <i>Fox News<\/i> interview. \u201cI will absolutely take on one of these. The question is, you can\u2019t fight 10 Goliaths at the same time. So, I have to determine what I want my legacy to be and that is going to be a result of which fight I pick.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s3\">Michaels said that she\u2019s talking with the original executive producers of <i>The Biggest Loser<\/i> about potentially making their own documentary.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u201cI might do that,\u201d she said. \u201cThere is talk of that. I might take that path instead, and I think I don\u2019t know that I am necessarily going to need to sue because it\u2019s very timely. It\u2019s very expensive.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">She claimed that the producers are \u201cvery upset\u201d by <i>Fit For TV<\/i> and called the docuseries \u201cliterally just lie upon lie.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><i>Us Weekly <\/i>has reached out to Netflix and Harper for comment.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Michaels <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DNii__jxbWP\/?hl=en&amp;img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span class=\"s2\">broke her silence<\/span><\/a> on <i>Fit For TV<\/i> last week, alleging in an Instagram post that \u201cDr. Huizenga did approve caffeine pills on many seasons of <i>Biggest Loser<\/i>. Bob Harper not only knew about the caffeine pills the \u2018stackers fat burner\u2019 were actually his suggestion.
