He went on to say that being so close to Emily<\/strong> made him feel comfortable about really getting into character. <\/p>\n Meanwhile, Emily<\/strong> spoke about her co-star\u2019s \u201cimmersion\u201d into the film, saying that he was immediately locked in and focused on his character from the moment they started filming. <\/p>\n \u201cHe has absorbed and borne witness to so much of what Mark<\/strong> has experienced that it was such a beautiful thing to watch this person let go of having to be an image, of having to be The Rock<\/strong>, and crack himself in half for this role,\u201d Emily<\/strong> told Vanity Fair<\/em>.<\/p>\n
