British tennis star Jack Draper<\/strong> has been wowing fans both on and off the court since arriving onto the scene.<\/span><\/p>\n Draper, 23, had a career breakthrough at the 2024 US Open, making his first major semifinal.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Since then, he\u2019s become one of the most popular and buzzed-about names in tennis, reaching a career-high ranking of No. 4 in the world in June.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n While his tennis prowess is undeniable, Draper\u2019s dashing good looks have also earned him plenty of fans away from the sport. Draper signed with IMG Models when he was 18 years old, before he even made the leap to professional tennis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n For the five things you need to know about Draper, keep reading.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n When the 6-foot-4 Draper signed with IMG Models as a teenager, he had no idea his portfolio would haunt him for years.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI had just turned pro, and I didn\u2019t really know what it was all about,\u201d Draper told Vogue<\/i><\/a> in April. \u201cI mean, the photos I did back then, I didn\u2019t realize they\u2019d still be out there. I wasn\u2019t thinking about the future. It was just cool to go into that world and have something on the side.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n The tennis star has since been named an ambassador for Burberry and left Nike for athleisure brand Vuori earlier this month.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n It\u2019s all been part of a learning curve for Draper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI quite enjoy being in front of the camera,\u201d Draper told British Vogue<\/i><\/a> in June 2024. \u201cIf I\u2019m looking good, that is.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n As his public image continues to grow, Draper insisted he won\u2019t let it get in the way of his tennis.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cIt\u2019s been a real journey to understand what I need to do to keep on improving as a player, and as a person,\u201d he told Vogue<\/i> in April. \u201cMy preparation is always the same thing: rock up to the court, listen to my coach, and do all the right things to ensure I\u2019m banking good days every day.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Tennis fans \u2014 and even some of the other players on tour \u2014 have noticed Draper\u2019s physical transformation in recent months.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI have worked incredibly hard to improve my physicality on the court,\u201d Draper told reporters at the 2025 US Open. \u201cI think part of it is my genetics and growing into a bit more of a man\u2019s body. I think that took me a long time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Draper said he\u2019s recently enjoyed \u201creally improving\u201d in the gym.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBefore I didn\u2019t really want to push myself,\u201d Draper explained. \u201cI didn\u2019t really want to feel strong almost. But I feel great in myself now and I understand the benefits it has on the match court and on these big stages, as well.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n At the 2025 French Open, fellow pro tennis player Alexander Bublik<\/strong> called Draper\u2019s body \u201cinsane.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Bublik, 28, told reporters, \u201cI saw him first day here. I\u2019m like, \u2018Are you getting ready for UFC?\u2019\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n When Draper was asked if he could \u201chave dinner with three people,\u201d not all tennis fans were thrilled with his answer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThere are a lot of controversial ones in there,\u201d Draper told ATPTour.com<\/a> in November 2022. \u201cI\u2019d probably say Donald Trump<\/strong>. Conor McGregor<\/strong> \u2026\u00a0 I think Trump and McGregor are fascinating people. They obviously got to the pinnacle of what they\u2019ve done. Very successful.
