Taylor Fritz<\/strong> might be one of the hottest names in men\u2019s tennis, but his girlfriend, Morgan Riddle<\/strong>, is the one setting tongues wagging.<\/p>\n Riddle, 28, met Fritz, 27, on a dating app in 2020. The pair have been inseparable since, and Riddle makes regular appearances at nearly all of Fritz\u2019s matches.<\/p>\n In a 2023 interview with The New York Times<\/em><\/a>, Riddle admitted she doesn\u2019t mind being known as a WAG (an acronym for \u201cwives and girlfriends\u201d), but she certainly didn\u2019t see herself in a serious relationship with a tennis player until it happened.<\/p>\n \u201cI genuinely did not have any friends who were interested in tennis, I had no friends who watched tennis, I had no friends who played or wore cute tennis clothing,\u201d she told the outlet.<\/p>\n Fritz also told the newspaper he was clear about his past when they met: He had been married, had a child and gotten divorced before age 22. Though many people were receptive to the video, Riddle also experienced some backlash \u2014 and Fritz had to step in and offer his support.<\/p>\n While speaking to reporters after his third-round win at the BNP Paribas Open in 2022, Fritz said, \u201cI think what she did was awesome for our sport. It got a ton of people looking at it.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cI think you get your typical older fan who may be upset about it. I don\u2019t understand how anyone can get upset about it. I\u2019m the one that\u2019s a professional tennis player, I\u2019m the one that does this for a living.
