\nSpeaking to People days after the announcement, he said: \u201cI play an a****** version of myself. Apparently, it went over. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cI have many noms and even some wins on the producing and directing side, but first nom as an actor, which is kind of funny. I\u2019m getting a kick out of it.\u201d <\/p>\n
\nIt marked Ron\u2019s 14th Emmy nomination.<\/p>\n
\nThe Studio stars Seth Rogen as Matt Remick, the new head of embattled movie company Continental Studios. <\/p>\n
\nRon appeared in the third episode of the first season, which aired in April. <\/p>\n
\nIn the episode, his director character \u2013\u00a0and exaggerated version of his real-life self \u2013\u00a0cries when he receives critical feedback from Seth\u2019s character and angrily throws his trademark baseball cap at him.<\/p>\n
\nThe first season of The Studio also featured guest appearances from Martin Scorsese, Anthony Mackie, Zo\u00eb Kravitz and Dave Franco, all of whom also played versions of themselves. <\/p>\n
\nBryan Cranston also earned an Emmy nomination for a guest role in the series, though he portrayed a fictional character.<\/p>\n
\nHenry and Ron worked together on sitcom Happy Days, which ran for 11 seasons on ABC, between 1974 and 1984. <\/p>\n
\nRon starred as Richie Cunningham, while Henry played Arthur \u2018Fonzie\u2019 Fonzarelli \u2013 initially a recurring role before he became a series regular.<\/p>\n
\nThe pair reunited briefly on stage at the 2024 Emmys. <\/p>\n
\nHenry said: \u201cI was with him for 45 seconds on the Emmys last year. It was like we had just been on the set a minute ago. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cOh my God, I love him very much.\u201d<\/p>\n
