Nearly two months after Netflix announced that Queer Eye<\/em><\/a> will end with its 10th season<\/a>, former Fab Five member Bobby Berk<\/strong><\/a> shared his candid reaction.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had such an amazing run,\u201d Berk, 43, exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> at Narwal\u2019s summer soiree in Los Angeles on Thursday, August 21. \u201cTechnically, with [2019\u2019s four-episode special filmed in] Japan, we did 11 seasons, which is the longest-running Netflix original show ever. And to be a part of that<\/a> was phenomenal. It was phenomenal, and I can\u2019t wait to see their final season.\u201d<\/p>\n

Berk served as the reality show\u2019s design expert from seasons 1 to 8 before being replaced<\/a> by Jeremiah Brent<\/strong><\/a>. After Berk announced his exit<\/a> in November 2023, a source told Us<\/em>\u00a0that he had been \u201casked to leave<\/a> because he wasn\u2019t vibing with the cast.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere were many challenges with scheduling, [and] there was a loss of interest from Bobby filming the show,\u201d the source explained at the time. \u201cThe network and the cast thought it was time to bring in fresh blood. His heart was not in it, and the rest of the cast started to resent him because of that.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThings may keep getting better for the heroes on Netflix\u2019s Queer Eye, but things between the show\u2019s cast and crew have seemingly hit a rough patch. News of feuds between cast members and allegations of poor behavior began to emerge after the show\u2019s interior designer, Bobby Berk, announced that season 8 of the reality series [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Berk later insisted that leaving Queer Eye<\/em> was his \u201cdecision\u201d but admitted to clashing<\/a> with fashion expert Tan France<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cTan and I had a moment,\u201d Berk told Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a> in January 2024. \u201cThere was a situation, and that\u2019s between Tan and I, and it has nothing to do with the show. It was something personal that had been brewing \u2014 and nothing romantic, just to clarify that.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cI was angry, and that\u2019s the end of it. We became like siblings \u2014 and siblings are always going to fight. \u2026 I can foresee in six months or a year, Tan and I at each other\u2019s house being good.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, in March 2024, France, 42, claimed in an Instagram video<\/a> that Berk had been \u201cfired\u201d from Queer Eye<\/em> as he denied being involved in his friend Brent, 40, coming aboard.<\/p>\n

The Queer Eye star may be a Netflix sensation, but his everyday life is all about work and quality time with his loved ones.\u00a0 Berk, 40, who is an interior designer and author, not only works as the home renovation expert on his hit reality series but is also [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cNetflix and the production companies did a full-on casting,\u201d France said. \u201cI didn\u2019t prop my friend up for the job. They ended up getting it because they were the best person for the job. Am I so happy that they have the job? Uh huh! I really am. I think they\u2019re going to be incredible on the show. But I didn\u2019t get them hired by getting rid of somebody else.\u201d<\/p>\n

With the drama now in the past, Berk is focused on his new HGTV show<\/a>, Junk or Jackpot?<\/em><\/p>\n
