\t\t<\/p>\n Katee Sackhoff<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about life after The Mandalorian<\/strong><\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n The 45-year-old actress portrayed Bo-Katan Kryze on the Star Wars<\/strong><\/a><\/em> series across seasons two and three. <\/p>\n During a recent episode of her podcast, The Sackhoff Show<\/a><\/em>, Katee<\/strong> shared how working on the show destroyed her confidence and led to her \u201cbasically\u201d not working for three years. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI lost all of my confidence after Mandalorian<\/em>. All of it,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019ve always played two steps removed from myself, in a sense. It always felt grounded in some part of my belly, of who I was. Bo-Katan is nowhere near who I am as a human being. Her life, what she wants \u2014 I didn\u2019t understand her. As much as I understood her, I never felt her in my stomach. I never identified with her. I didn\u2019t know how to find her.\u201d<\/p>\n After wrapping filming in spring 2022, Katee<\/strong> says she had trouble finding her confidence again and find more roles. <\/p>\n \u201cIt broke me. It just broke me,\u201d she shared. \u201cI started doubting everything about myself. I\u2019m not a strong auditioner on tape, and I was having to put myself on tape. I wasn\u2019t booking anything. And for three years, I basically didn\u2019t work, and it just destroyed my confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n Katee<\/strong> added that she has since hired a new manager, who connected her with an acting coach to help. <\/p>\n \u201c[The coach] said to me, \u2018My goal is not to teach you how to act. You know how to act,\u2019\u201d she dished. \u201c\u2018I just need to get you back in your belly. You just need to find your confidence again.\u2019 That\u2019s it.\u201d<\/p>\n Since The Mandalorian<\/em>, Katee<\/strong> has made only a couple appearances on screen \u2013 in an episode of Law & Order <\/em>and the movie Fight or Flight<\/em> \u2013 as well as a handful of voice roles. <\/p>\n Next up, Katee<\/strong> will be reunite with her Oculus<\/em> director Mike Flanagan<\/strong> for the upcoming Carrie<\/em> TV series<\/a> for Prime Video. <\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
