Other cast members include Henry Cavill, Russell Crowe, Dave Bautista, and Marisa Abela.<\/p>\n<p>The 1986 film was about\u00a0Connor MacLeod, &#8220;a Medieval Scottish Highlander who discovers he is an immortal warrior&#8221;. In this remake, Gillan is playing the wife of Cavill&#8217;s MacLeod.<\/p>\n<p>The film begins production in September in Scotland, Gillan&#8217;s native country.
