Ariana Madix has loved working with Andy Cohen<\/p>\n
\nThe 40-year-old reality star co-hosts the Love Island USA reunion show with Andy, and Ariana has revealed that she’s learned some invaluable lessons from her 57-year-old co-star.<\/p>\n
\nShe told People: “I feel like throughout the day I learned a lot from him and his ability to take charge. And not so much necessarily take charge just with the Islanders, but take charge just of what was going on. And I learned a little bit like, \u2018Oh I’m allowed to do that,\u2019 which is great.<\/p>\n
\n“We had a lot of fun together.”<\/p>\n
\nAriana sometimes feels “bad” when she asks awkward questions to the Islanders.<\/p>\n
\nHowever, she also recognises that it’s a requirement of her job.<\/p>\n
\nAriana – who began hosting Love Island USA in 2024 – shared: “Something I remind myself of is that it’s a tough question, but it’s also an opportunity for the islander to give – it’s usually a question that the audience has been asking.<\/p>\n
\n“So it’s their moment, their opportunity to explain how they feel, how they felt in the moment. So it’s a tough question and it’s a hard subject sometimes, but it is something that allows them to express more deeply how they feel.”<\/p>\n
\nAriana recently revealed that she feels like the “Glam Reaper” on Love Island USA.<\/p>\n
\nShe told Maura Higgins on Love Island USA: Aftersun: “[They] gas me up when I come in [to the villa] because I always hope that I get to bring good news but sometimes I\u2019m the Glam Reaper.”<\/p>\n
\nDespite this, Ariana developed a real affection for this year’s Islanders.<\/p>\n
\nThe former Vanderpump Rules star admires the contestants for putting themselves in the spotlight and exposing themselves to potentially fierce public criticism.<\/p>\n
\nAriana – who starred on Vanderpump Rules between 2013 and 2024 – shared: “The islanders who were eliminated, there\u2019s been a lot of stuff that\u2019s just been crazy.<\/p>\n
\n“I just want them to know, and any islander who has also left the villa this point, I just want them all to know how much I genuinely really love them and appreciate them for putting themselves out there.”<\/p>\n
