Tom Ackerley<\/a> in October and she’s now opened up about life as a new parent and admitted she worries gushing about her baby may sound “boring” to those who don’t have children of their own.<\/p>\nDuring an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Margot said: “It’s like, [when] you try to explain to someone who has kids, you don’t need to because they get it, and if they don’t, it\u2019s probably just really boring to hear.<\/p>\n
“So, it\u2019s kind of like: ‘It\u2019s the best’, you know?”<\/p>\n
The couple – who married in 2016 – have yet to publicly reveal their son’s name or any further details about his arrival, with reports suggesting they made a concerted effort to keep their baby news quiet.<\/p>\n
\nA recent report suggested they have been enjoying a lot of quiet family time at home since their little boy arrived.<\/p>\n
\nA source told PEOPLE: “They waited a long time to get pregnant, so it was almost unbelievable when the baby actually arrived. <\/p>\n
\n“They\u2019ve both been settling into being parents. They\u2019re homebodies so it\u2019s been lovely to spend the time just them, at home with him. They\u2019re so happy.” <\/p>\n
\nMargot previously described herself as the “ultimate single gal” before meeting Tom, but the Wolf of Wall Street actress admitted the film producer totally changed her outlook entirely. <\/p>\n
\nReflecting on the evolution of their romance, Margot told Vogue magazine: “I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. “And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, ‘Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him’. <\/p>\n
\n“And then it happened, and I was like, of course we’re together.”<\/p>\n
\nMargot married Tom in a private ceremony in Byron Bay in Australia and she admitted the relationship just worked out perfectly.<\/p>\n
\nShe added: “This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.”<\/p>\n
