Margot Robbie<\/strong><\/a> is officially stepping back into the spotlight \u2014 this time as a brand-new mom.<\/p>\n The Oscar-nominated actress made a glamorous return to the red carpet nearly a year after she and husband Tom Ackerley<\/strong><\/a> welcomed their first child, a baby boy whose name has yet to be shared.<\/p>\n Margot joined costar Colin Farrell<\/a> <\/strong>on Aug. 20 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills to celebrate their upcoming romantic fantasy, A Big Bold Beautiful Journey<\/em>. The pair posed together for photos, with Margot stealing the spotlight in a fitted black mini-dress, strappy heels and her signature blonde waves, while Colin kept things low-key in blue jeans, a white T-shirt and a black cardigan.<\/p>\n The appearance marked a milestone moment for Margot \u2014 not only was it her first red carpet since becoming a mom, but A Big Bold Beautiful Journey<\/em> also marks her big-screen comeback after the massive success of Barbie<\/em> in 2023. Fans have been eagerly awaiting her return to acting, and it seems she\u2019s diving right back into work. Even during a trip back home to Australia in April, Margot was photographed wearing a gold \u201cmama\u201d necklace while taking a swim \u2014 a subtle but touching tribute to her baby boy.<\/p>\n And while she and Tom keep their family life private, the couple hasn\u2019t shied away from talking about their love story over the years. \u201cWe were friends for so long,\u201d Margot told Vogue<\/em><\/a> back in 2016. \u201cI was always in love with him, but I thought, \u2018Oh, he would never love me back. Don\u2019t make it weird, Margot. Don\u2019t be stupid and tell him that you like him.\u2019 But it happened and I was like, \u2018Of course we\u2019re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n The couple\u2019s joy only grew when their son was born. \u201cMargot\u2019s first days as a mom were more emotional than she ever imagined,\u201d a source told Life & Style<\/em><\/a> in November 2024. \u201cShe and Tom couldn\u2019t stop holding their little boy, kissing his tiny face, fingers and toes. He\u2019s just perfect.\u201d<\/p>\n Though they balance life as both spouses and producing partners at their company LuckyChap, Tom has said it all blends together seamlessly. \u201c[We spend] 24 hours a day [together],\u201d he told The Sunday Times in June. \u201cIt\u2019s seamless. We don\u2019t have a toggle on, toggle off. It\u2019s all become one thing.\u201d<\/p>\n And when it comes to disagreements? They keep it lighthearted. Tom revealed their only real \u201cargument\u201d is over whether Tim Tams or Penguins are the superior snack \u2014 though he admits he now feels like \u201can honorary Aussie,\u201d while Margot has become \u201can honorary Brit.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
