Ayo Edebiri and Don Cheadle are set to come to Broadway in Spring 2026 in a production of the Pulitzer and Tony Award winning play Proof<\/i>. The play, written by David Auburn and directed by Tony winner Thomas Kail, will begin previews on March 31st and open on April 16th. It “tells the story of a brilliant but troubled mathematician, his daughter and the blurred line between genius and madness.” This will be the Broadway debut of both actors.<\/p>\n

Carrie Coon is set to star alongside Namir Smallwood in Bug<\/i>, a play written by Coon’s husband, actor and writer Tracy Letts. This production, directed by David Cromer, previously played at Steppenwolf Theatre in Chicago in 2021, and is finally making its Broadway debut via Manhattan Theater Club.<\/p>\n
The plot: “What begins as a simple connection between two broken people in a seedy Oklahoma motel room twists into something far more dangerous. When reality slips out of grasp, paranoia, delusion, and conspiracy take over in this sexy psychological thriller.”<\/p>\n
This marks Coon’s first appearance on Broadway since 2012, when she starred in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?<\/i>, while Smallwood appeared in 2021’s Pass Over<\/i>.<\/p>\n
